Organized by the SEAI, the conference will enable members of the global energy management community to discuss the newly launched ISO 50001 standard along with the latest developments in energy policy issues.
The main focus of the event will be on a speech being made by Rob Steele an International Standards Organization Secretary-General, entitled ‘Reflections on the potential global impact of ISO 50001 and the evolution of new energy standards’. The conference will also provide key insights into really effective approaches that have been adopted by different countries in relation to the promotion, implementation and development of the standard.
The conference is to conclude with a Poster Exhibition which will offer delegates and authors the opportunity to exchange views on a variety of practical applications of EnMS. Ciara Donnelly part-time employee of Enerit and Research Student at the National University of Galway has submitted a poster which focuses on the practical application of Enerit ISO 50001 Software at Rome and Milan Airports as part of the EU funded project CASCADE.
