Frequently Answered Question (FAQs)

By getting the software, how will I further reduce energy costs?

Even if you have carried out good energy efficiency programmes based on traditional approaches, you should still expect more savings when you upgrade to Enerit’s automated approach based on ISO 50001. You achieve this through improvement in organization, involvement of line managers, motivation of the general workforce and being able to manage all those small projects that you never quite get to.

Is it possible to make these energy savings without using Enerit automated support?

No, we do not believe you can. Today’s managers are so involved in other critical day-to-day issues that it is impossible to add systematic energy management responsibilities and successfully manage the activities without the use of some form of automated tool.

It is a well known fact that energy management programmes that saved energy in their first year lose direction and control over time, and energy consumption begins to rise again.

Many large multinationals  have also found that, where ISO 50001 systematic management techniques are required, manual processes based on spreadsheets, web-tools, databases, paper documents and email fragments need to be replaced by integrated and automated processes based on secure workflow.

Is Enerit ISO 50001 software suitable for my organization?

Enerit’s approach is particularly well suited to large energy users such as industrial sites and owners of large commercial and institutional buildings. The first vital step for your organization however is to commit to a systematic approach to energy management (like ISO 50001).

Do we need to install servers and software to run this service?

No the Enerit ISO 50001 software is web-based, and hosted and managed remotely. You only need a web browser and access to the Internet.

What way is Enerit ISO 50001 software priced?

The pricing is based on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

This means that:

  • The cost of Enerit ISO 50001 software is based on a fixed monthly fee
  • There is no capital cost
  • There are no upfront setup costs.

How much does Enerit ISO 50001 software cost?

What is the Return on Investment?
